Universal health care is going to run into the same problems unless we fix the current issues with health care, especially the rising cost of it. Otherwise, the cure is going to be much worse than the ailment. Obama is aware of that, but I'm not sure it's within his power to fix via committees

Analysis paralysis is not the answer...it'll never be done that way.

My problem is how it will be implemented. I have seen MANY failures of publicly-funded services from health to education.

There is a way to do it I suspect. The problem is they are insisting on having government run it, which insures a bloated government bureaucracy that will be less efficient than the system we have today.

If they would simply address the issues instead of trying to create this massive government run alternative, we could get everyone taken care of.

The reality is that the Democrats are not after better, more affordable health care. They're after political power.
