Why would you think that? Obama, himself, has said unemployment will continue up for some time, and practically everyone thinks we're nowhere near the end.

He'll be lucky if it turns the corner before the '10 elections. The mishandling of this economy by Obama -- the damage done by the so-called stimulus plan, may be felt for years.

The banking crisis is over as a result of Bush's actions six months ago. But the consensus view is we're not out of the economic crisis or anywhere close to it.

11-12% unemployment isn't out of the question.
