Obama has brought us a $2 Trillion deficit his first year in office. Reagan didn't do that.

If people knew they were going to be stuck with the unemployment anyway they'd rather not have spent the trillion (which will result in inflation a couple years down the road).

Not that you know shit about it as has been shown time and again.

Neither the current recession, nor the one in 81-82 exactly line up with the presidential change, so "when Reagan took office...when Obama took office", is rather irrelevant to "In 81-82 a similar GDP drop caused a similar unemployment rate, but this time we started out with a lower unemployment rate, so a similar GDP drop caused a larger employment drop."
