During the period when the church ruled the world, universities worldwide, in their class rooms, call that "The Dark Ages". Why do you think that was?

When science arose and debunked the religous dogmatic nonsense the universities call that: "The Age of Enlightenment".

Democracy rose out of intellectualism, not out of theology.
