All we need is for Chevron (anyone else) to think aipc is sitting on "tons of oil." Agreed.

Dispute = question? Do you think it would be unrealistic for anyone participating in this thread to question posts about third party conversations?

But Faris, it would be almost impossible to verify anything in your post. You do see that, don't you? I have no problems in giving pause to what you've presented in your post. But I don't pretend to know anything more than I do. I just don't understand what motivates you to add a post like this which isn't verifiable while questioning others contributions.

I also just don't see why you feel this thread is negative. I think it's more positive than anything.

Maybe it's me, but I find this thread to be highly productive and informative. I think there's a real balance here that's healthy.

He said, she said. I know hundreds of folks in this biz. Some are working on projects or programs that involve the Caspian region.

What I learn from 70% of your post is that there is wild rumours floating around. You also been incorrect in some of it, but we are suppose to believe what you write as knowledgable and credible? Well Faris, Caspian isn't the only place of interest. Falklands region is heating up, for you see it's springtime down under.
Big majors are pouring all kind of money into the Gulf of Mexico. Plenty of interest in SA, Africa and Asia. Employment in the industry has hit a shortage in personnel. So you see Faris, you can ask that same individual about the Falklands, Chad, Venezuela, Colombia, Indonesia or other parts of the world and they will say the samething.

As to your insulting parting shot, that is typical of you Faris. I work very hard and long hours, how dare you question my or others research, because it doesn't fit Faris's world.

look faris-
i shall begin by burying the hatchet and apologizing for the commentary that YOU may have found offensive in the past-
maybe you should have emailed me to directly confront me about your displeasure in my choice of words-
PC is those of "the indian subcontinent descent"{according NYC's taxi magazine..
the assumption of my friends acceptance of such terms while possibly reprehensible and unconscionable to others was a mistake on my part-
but what can you expect from a swarthy street guy like me-
i am who i say i am-
and i pull no punches-
i will continue in another post to you- with an intelligible and coherent disagreement on the use of "anonymous" opinions.
regards
taxi

Thread and Faris in particular:

"However, I do know a guy in Texas who recently met a buyer at Chevron whom he hadn't seen for two years. He told him he was invested in a small oil company that had a concession in Kazakhstan. His friend told him it must be AIPC, knew all about the company and said that it was "sitting on tons of oil".
Now, given that Chevron is, to date, the major player in Kazakhstan I asume that they have a better grasp on the realities over there than most of us. If Chevron thinks AIPC is sitting on tons of oil, I would believe them....although I fully expect some on this thread to dispute the Chevron employee's claim without making any effort to verify it. It's the nature of this thead. Never do due diligence...but pretend to be knowledgeable anyway. I'm getting bored.."

Rumor and innuendo is worth something but can not be construed as due diligence and I think you are getting bored by your own relentless hyping. The fact is if you are this invested in AIPN then you need to relax a little and see that the company has had a lot of missteps and that your own opinions certainly appear to be emanating almost exclusively from the PR Millenium mill. Listen I read your posts and feel that they are significant contributions to the content but your arrogance is a little insufferable from time to time as well as smug and wreaks of the perceptions that you think you have some kind of special knowledge. Your own change of direction on AIPN and its direction is a function of being led down the garden path by the hypsters that proliferate this stock. The reality is that AIPN is a broker on this deal and it controls its fate only in so far as it can negotiate its advantage. Dr. George Faris is a clever man and will work the best deal for the shareholders because he is one to the tune of 3,000,000++++++ . But that will happen with all the facts supporting his position that QDOG and others are boring you with. So relax and stop contributing if we all are boring you. Taxi had pause to consider his mistake in the statements of the past and apologize I suggest you do the same and get off your high horse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Faris....Please do not become bored with the other camp, to the point of not posting....I think there is a large silent majority here who look forward to your posts...Do not become disenchanted by the "noise from the other side", There is people here on both sides of the fence but we are walking down the fence together towards the ultimate future of AIPN. Qdog, I would ask that you and others to lay down your sticks because the horse had been dead for sometime. Debate the merits without the character assassinations...Please, It is ok to feel positive or negative about the stock, as long as we can respectfully agree to disagree...To all of us, do not condemn each others views lest we cause the demise of this thread....and have only the Analyst on CNBC to listen to........God Forbid..
