I knew my great grandparents. My children of course did not. So when I die that generation is for all intents gone.

So true MM....And a good way to get some of those stories out of them, is asking things like:

Tell me what a typical day when you were in the 2nd grade might have been like.....How did it smell when you were on your way to school.....

This gets some GREAT responses....
