I think CA has many more demands for tax revenue than WA state because the state encouraged illegals to migrate to the state and allowed many social and infrastructure problems to fester rather than getting addressed. Nearly every year I lived in CA they were short money and cutting back services. Its one of the reasons why I left.

Maybe Obama should sell it to Mexico. Call it California Broke Back Sale!

Ted, > I think CA has many more demands for tax revenue than WA state because the state encouraged illegals to migrate to the state and allowed many social and infrastructure problems to fester rather than getting addressed.

Exactly. Now remind me again why you still think Prop. 13 is the problem.

> I am not a pawn for the rich nor do I spend my days defending their well being. For the life of me, I will never understand your need to do so....do you get a fee from them?

I'm not defending the "rich" as much as I'm attacking those who use the "rich" as an excuse to dodge the issue.

Besides, I hope to one day move to Laguna Beach or Newport Beach and actually call one of these rich bastards my neighbor. ;-)
