Name ONE BUSINESS THING that isn't regulated.

My lawn service.

Every piece of equipment he uses is regulated. The vehicle he drives is regulated. He's required to have a business permit. If he uses chemicals those are entirely regulated to keep you safe. I could go on...

The doors I'm replacing on my house.

Must meet, my WAG, a dozen specs. The materials used in manufacture are regulated. The truck that delivered it to your door or to the store where you got it is regulated. The installer is regulated/licensed. I could go on...

The trees growing on my family's land in IL.

I assume they are 'business related'? The chemicals they spray on them are regulated, the fertilizers is regulated, if they catch a disease that is contagious they will be destroyed, the dept of agriculture has ultimate say about those trees, if they are invasive they will be destroyed, if they infringe on someone else's property they will...

Our garden.

The seeds you plant are regulated... the fertilizer, the chemicals, hell even the dirt if you buy top soil. Is that a business for you?

Garage sales.

Ever try to sell marijuana at a garage sale? Liquor? Cigarettes? Whatever you are selling there was manufactured under regulations.

The last thing I bought over the internet.

What was it? Was it delivered by a truck? On roads?

EVERYTHING is regulated... it's why you can go to a store and buy 50 totally different products and feel (almost) completely safe. Regulation creates a level playing field for commerce and establishes a high threshold of quality and safety.

Without regulation, we're third world.
