"wont be like Canada's" Not immediately, but that seems to be the direction and goal. Why outlaw new health care plans? Why are the proponents telling the single-payer advocates Obama's plan is a step to what they want?

You know I don't see anywhere in the Constitution which gives the federal government the power to take over health care. Even with general welfare they had to give the money to the states and let them run it. How is it they can take over the health care system? Sure they can take over a company if the company wants the government to take it over, but I am sure there is going to be insurance companies, hospitals, and doctors who will object.
