Yes, painful. Paulson says there would have been catastrophe, but I wonder how catastrophic it would really have been if others had gone the way of Lehman which was subsumed with no great problem that I could see. Daughter Emily Chan's Barclay's Capital was part of the Lehman takeover gang and good for them. It's good to be on the right side of the capital flows = where the money is flowing to instead of flowing from.

I don't think pitchforks or tumbrels are good ideas, though understandable at times. A nice cup of tea, a chat, and a lie down are more in order. There's too much of that Islamic Jihad style angry head-hacking already.

QCOM results out shortly. I expect money to have flowed in, by the $billion.
