People are busy. Not everyone can read well, and many people who can read are just too tired to read. I understand that. But I'm afraid it also applies to our legislators (on both sides). This whole conglomeration of folks who don't take much responsibility for their own government means the government we do get is poorly written, poorly edited, and has too few people watching how it works. The people who bitch about almost everything are just as worthless as the people who bitch about nothing. What we need is some rational, careful, targeted changes. Not sure we'll get that since we don't live in a rational, careful country.
