We don't want city ordinances interfering with our lives. >> You would be arrested if caught... that's not regulation? Every law, regulation or ordinance takes away someone's personal freedom. Society has to weigh the cost (in freedom) versus the benefit. If society wants to limit the use of marijuana I really don't have a problem with it. But to take a legal substance (like tobacco) and limit its use is just a bit too much Big Brother for my taste. Speed limits are fine, as they protect the public. But telling me how much water my toilet can use when it flushes is just way, way, WAY over the line.
