I recommend everybody over 40 get a heart scan for a calcium score. NOT a "angiogram" scan, also called a CTA. A CT abdomen will turn up any lower problems. The heart scan will also show any lung problems.

Mine two years ago turned up a maligant cyst on my kidney, successfully removed, and a medium level of heart disease, since regressed. Since I was and still am asymptomatic for both, by Doctors would never have found either until I would have, at the least, lost the kidney, and had a major heart problem.
