September, will be the second anniversary of enrolling in Medicare for me.

I have Medicare A, B & D plus Supplemental F, for a total cost of $270 per month.

A year and a half ago, I experienced a bad reaction to Cortisone based drugs. Google drug induced dementia and you'll begin to get a feel for it.

Bottom line, the battery of tests and specialist charges I went through were extensive and probably expensive. I say probably, because the whole thing cost me nothing. No co-pays. Nothing.

My medicare is not an HMO. There are no restrictions. The facility must accept Medicare, but so far I've not had one rejection.

Now if you want to talk about the Medicare Advantage program…
