(nor exactly certain what 'philosophies' you are actually talking about....) But I believe you mentioned 'global warming' earlier, so I suppose that, at least, is one of the things you are talking about. Well, all I can say is that IF you ever find significant numbers of climatologists (or scientists from related disciplines... astrophysics, environmental sciences, biology, computational sciences and applied mathematics, oceanography, etc.) who start worshiping at altars and or baptizing new members of their professions with some sort of rituals --- instead or investigating/researching/experimenting/arguing/theorizing/publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and then more arguing; then be sure to let me know about it because that will be a very new and extremely troubling development to hear about. <GGG>
