They were protesting "taxation without representation". That's not what exists in this country now.

The reference is obviously to the Boston Tea Party. And while it is true that commonly it was thought of as a protest about "taxation without representation", if you think that is TRULY what it was about, you have no understanding of the situation at all.

The BTP was about a much bigger issue that TWR.

Excuse me but I will go by what the textbook says about the affair.
