California may have found a way to keep on deficit spending forever. From Naked Capitalism...

Pretty fascinating stuff. It may be the wave of the future and if you think hard about it, it may be with the blessing of the Fed. It would alleviate some pressure on them to keep printing dollars. Every state, since they are a taxing authority could in effect print their own currency, something I mentioned before with regards to California.
