...my blond haired daughters had wanted to marry an African American I would have stood back to back with them against the entire world if need be. That is very good to know. Now here something that I experienced when I went to meet my wife's family last week. One of her niece and a nephew (18 years, 15 years) returned from a two week long church camp. While narrating their experiences at the camp at the breakfast table, the niece said that the camp priest gave them a hour long talk on not to mingle with gays and Muslims in school. They both were offended since my nieces best friend is a Muslim. And both of them unanimously said that they felt offended since one of their cousin is gay and they vowed to attend his marriage. This happened in Mass. Times are changing and the religious preachers need to move with the times or else they face the threat of ridicule if they continue to preach hate in places of worship.
