I do notice. I've never tried to claim there are no genuine racists on the right wing; quite to the contrar,y I have proclaimed it to be a fact just as their are in the left wing. Personally I think both extremes of the 'wings' are nothing but the attempt to form a collective identity of bigotry, each pointing the finger at the other.

I notice other things too. I notice the camera was careful to focus on the one guy who may have had that value system, while making sure not to include any shots that would represent diversity. That is just as racist IMO. Especially considering Palin herself is in a mixed marriage. Hypocrisy and propaganda were exposed by those videos as much as the possible racism of that one man the camera operator focused on.

I think its fair to assume the monkey thing is racist, even though images of Bush as a monkey was practically everywhere you looked during his administration. That was a childish put down in Bush's case, and it was a slam on right wingers, which was popularized and lauded far and wide. In Obama's case it seems racist and also a slam on left wingers. But you don't see too much of it. Even when you do, I suspect the one's behind the report as much as the one they are focusing on, maybe more since they are the one's escallating the issue.

A Sarah Palin rally:

Note how he sheepishly tries to give the monkey to a child....

First though, he takes the Obama name off the monkey and puts it in his pocket. An embarrassed winger.....now that's something you don't see every day.
