You're watering down the definition of "stimulus" to apply to any sort of government spending, wasteful or otherwise.

Wasteful or not, spending is stimulus. Do you deny that? It may be dumb, but it puts money in peoples pockets and they spend it and that puts money in other peoples pockets.

Unlike you, I believe that words mean things. True stimulus has a short-term multiplicative effect. Pork disguised as "stimulus" is just more of the same bullcrap that would make any citizen a political skeptic.

Of course I want the money spent with the max ROI. And probably the majority of projects have a decent... if not great ROI.

But they are all stimulus, even the most putrid, nonsense expenditure. If somebody gets a buck and spends 50 cents thats commerce that wouldn't have happened.

I can't figure out what you are trying to say...
