Why do you suppose teen pregnancy and teen STD's, after going down during the Clinton years have gone up during the Bush years?

Are there any policies you support for ideological reason that you'd be willing to abandon when they're shown to be failures in real world practice?

The ignorant thing is thinking you can stop people from having sex, and even if you could, that it's a good thing to stop them from doing so.

"Abstinence is not ignorance. It works every single time it's tried."

Teaching that as the only method to avoid teen pregnancy and STD's is stupid, though. Especially when part of the curriculum is to falsely tear down other methods as ineffective.
