It's not easy to call at all.

They are busy, or the phone is engaged, or you get stuck in a long telephone call you don't need.

Send a text. Even if their phone is switched off, out of power, or in a dead zone, they get the text when they next use the phone.

You can even get a reply confirmation when they open the text.

How much easier is that?
