curlton--

as for acquisitions...maybe PAIR? i know it sound far fetched, but...
or netspeed?

as for mergers or an acquisition of WSTL...LU,nortel,ALA who knows? maybe tex pac group will pick them up. take out value is 40/share. if they want to pay it they will have to get to that.

i just hope they dont do a heavily dilutive financing. issueing debt seems like a good idea, much better than financing through stock. if the ramp goes well, there will be plenty of money to pay off debt.

will be keeping my eyes open.

good luck to all,
trey

Where Alcatel is winning those LARGE end-to-end ATM systems, Netspeed is eating our lunch on the smaller ISP's with their cost effective modem-pooling solution....

October 28, 1997 -- NetSpeed announced......

..."ALLTEL is one of the first local exchange carriers in the U.S. to aggressively pursue ADSL access for their customers", said Shannon Leach, Director of Technology and Product Development for ALLTEL. "After evaluating 16 xDSL vendors, we selected NetSpeed for this trial based on their end-to-end solution and their innovative Digital Off-Hook modem pooling.".....
