Ross: The answer is yes. In 1996, Behre Dohlbear confirmed that there is .04 OPT au, and evidence of platinum. Nothing since then, but Behre Dohlbear and Bateman Engineering recently completed their independent verification process of IPM's assay and recovery process (which IPM has stated can produce .80 opt au/pt). We are waiting for the results.

As I stated in a post to EC (which he didn't bother to respond to), the reason I don't think this is a scam is that Behre Dohlbear has been working on this for so long now, if it were a scam, they would have to know about it. And if they know about it, and don't say anything, they would have to be a party to it.

No, I don't think it is a scam. I do believe they have had problems (hopefully resolved) in consistently producing the numbers mentioned above, thus the numerous delays in the verification process. But I don't believe for a moment that it is a scam.
