My experience has been that those Charters which have a very active parent involvment invariably succeed. usnews.com And then we have the magnet schools which have also been successful in rescuing failing schools. usnews.feedroom.com It may seem very radical but education should be treated like the military where we spend a lot of money while ensuring that the military personnel are not allowed to unionize and thereby politicize.
