Let me rephrase. You SHOULD have been there. It's beautiful. California has gorgeous mountains, which is one of its few redeeming graces. Also, some of my favorite people live there. Like SmoothSail and maybe some others. No offense to them. PS, my daughter, who lived near Sacramento for several years, has since moved from the Seattle area to the Washington DC area. She says the drivers there are WORSE than the drivers in either California or Seattle. I did not think it was possible to be worse than a California driver, as I become somewhat of an grump after being tailgated by everyone who doesn't want to drive the speed limit. Drivers are the main reason I can't stand California.
