Carolyn, what exactly are Republicans doing to "save" the country? Even they think that increasing healthcare costs are bleeding the country to death. Are they offering any viable solutions or are they just trying to KILL any reforms so they can make hay in the next election? So...Carter caused EVERYTHING? How many more years can you use Carter as a scapegoat??? Our national debt was LESS than 1 Trillion when Carter left office. It TRIPLED under Reagan. It QUADRUPLED under Bush I and then it stabilized and actually began falling under Clinton. Bush II took his Dad's quadruple and raised him another DOUBLE to about 8 Trillion. (I'm not sure about that last number but when you get to that many trillions it loses a lot of pizzazz even if the numbers aren't exactly right). So, you actually believe the Republicans are trying to save us??? The Republicans AND the Democrats are saving me so well that I'm moving ALL my investment money into OTHER currencies.
