Never mind.

I present facts.

You present your opinions or learned pavlovian responses.

When you look at US per capita numbers you need to look at demographics. It is a huge issue here not present in many other countries the left so admires.

And what demographics might those be? In terms of an aging population, Europe is in general worse than the US; Germany is always flirting with negative population growth. A blurb:

Most European countries have low growth rates. In the United Kingdom, the rate is 0.2%, in Germany it's 0.0%, and in France, 0.4%. Germany's zero rate of growth includes a natural increase of -0.2%, without immigration, Germany would be shrinking, like the Czech Republic.

By comparison :

In the U.S., the natural growth rate is 0.6% and overall growth is 0.9%. geography.about.com

That was just the first thing I could find, I can dig up more numbers if you want. Japan is, I believe, similar to Europe demographically.

Bearcat;

It is a huge issue here not present in many other countries the left so admires.

Care to back that up with some statistics? I think lots of countries are in worse shape than us.
