" Good thing Mao is Dead "

This is a loaded 'topic'.

You can't go to most places in China and not seeing Mao's
picture.

The man has his place in history.

>95+% probably regarded him as 'good guy'. China was very poor
and wealth were extremely concentrated.

<5% probably regarded him 'bad guy'.

When one man had wealth ( the cabinet level official in
Ching-dynasty ) worth more 20 years of the country's revenue,
the country was a problem and needed CHANGE.

Many years later, Mao provided the needed CHANGE.
