[Buying/Selling] Henry, I was also trying to do some buying and selling on Tuesday and found it extremely difficult to get through to my discount broker in a timely fashion (usually took 20 min or more on hold). When the market is really volatile like this, about the only way to get the best prices are to place limit orders before the market opens. Both my limit orders did get executed at the desired price, but it was impossible to get through to my broker in a timely fashion to either change my orders or add new ones. I tend to think there is a pretty good change that we will get at least one more real serious drop, so sold about half my portfolio (none of my ABTX though) near the end of the day, and I'm putting out some real low ball bids for some of my favorite stocks. OH,if you attempted to buy in the early morning at around 7 1/4 and did not get filled until the price had reached 9 1/4, thats the pits man. It just goes to show that the small investor gets the shaft in these types of market conditions. Market orders put you at the mercy of the market makers. None the less, you made a great buy with ABTX. Mr.Thomas never ceases to amaze with his timeing with great company announcements. If the earnings report, and the conference call had been made several days ago, and not after the stock and market bounce back, it would not have been as effective as it is now. These great news events have only solidified my total confidence in ABTX and its management staff. The future of this company at this time looks brighter than ever....Archie
