Still around but still out of town.
This real work crap sux.
I was over 3500 messages behind on RMIL and now I am another
2500 behind. Takes too long and too much $ to read them on the
road from my bogus laptop. No local ISP # in Eugene, OR. :(
Hope to actually be home and back in tack someday in the near
future.

BTW, Anyone with Farsight ever see how high you can set a limit
sell order with them without it getting kicked back? As I am
on the road so much lately, I just was wondering if I put in a
RMIL sell at $150 or beyond if it would get bounced or not?

ROMANCING THE BEER-how to taste beer like a professional

Pour the Ale or Lager into a clean glass.

STEP 1: Take a look at the beer- "Appearance"
*Note the head on the beer.
*Does the head stay (stability and retention)?
*What is the color of the beer? Golden, amber brown, ebony, etc.

STEP 2: Smell the beer for bouquet- "Aroma"
*Do you detect a hoppiness or maltiness? Fragrant, flowery, herbal, caramel, fruity.

STEP 3: The moment of truth- "The Taste" *What tastes are on your palate? Accent on hops or malt (or subtle fruit), spiciness, sweetness, roasted, citrus.

STEP 4: The body of the beer- "Mouthfeel"
*Is the beer thin or "chewy?"

STEP 5: The taste should linger- "Finish"
*Do you detect a dryness, a sweetness?
*How long does it linger?

Be Sure To Have Fun- Take your time and taste the different styles
