I think we are on the same side. Assuming a global function has sides. If you have run your own business for a long time you struggle daily with trying to make a profit. I have been at it for over 15 years, in two iterations, a third runs concurrently although I don’t really run it, a 4th looms. Things are generally a bit lumpy, but somewhat predictably so, it tends to work out in the end. Except that the first six months of this year were my best ever and I was expecting Armageddon. An interesting exercise in clarifying one’s niche. Our president and many of his supporters have no concept of your effort. There are worse things in life. I know what you mean about having practical experience, but then business itself isn’t exactly innocent of the mess we’re in so I don’t think it’s that simple. There are many in business who don’t have a clue how the other half lives. Am I missing something here? I could give you a long list of things that our president and his supporters have no concept of.
