"If there is no message for the center, just Left and Right and Nothing In Between, then the center will just get sick of all politicians. That is NOT the recipe for a party way back in the opposition to mobilize a return to power. Just ask the Dems in the 1980's." Perhaps it is time for a third party or independent candidate. In Canada there are the Liberals, the NDP and the Progressive Conservatives. The problem with three parties is 34% can govern the nation with a parliamentary system. With our current numbers in the house and senate we in effect have a parliamentary system perhaps with the NDP in power - or perhaps not. That remains to be seen. Bob
