Well, I'm long everything, i.e., gas, crude, gold, SP's, Russia, China, India, Brazil, tech group, banking group, and so on... I'll just add on any deep pull back, I see above 1200 for the SP's in the first half of next year, maybe sooner...<g>

shorting in this bizzaro superman stock world is dangerous. whether the market goes to the moon or tanks is a crapshoot at best. it would not be unexpected that if the market does actually rally, it could produce a net loss after inflationary effects and capital gains tax.

if the market goes up 20% and the dollar goes down 25% it's not quite as good of a profit as it appears.

...and we get capital gains tax on what actually is a net loss with dollar depreciation!
