If states are allowed to decide on their own marijuana laws and enforcement policies, you will definitely see the decriminalization spread. Most law enforcement authorities know what a waste of time it is, and how much money it funnels directly to homicidal Mexican narcotrafficantes.

I hope so
Imagine how calm everyone will be

guys who drink are often raging a**holes
guys who smoke tend to be pretty laid back

I would prefer a populace of laid back folks

And goodness- if we generate money out of the black hole of a black market we have in drugs right now- it's win win win win

That's how I see it, anyway. But then I'm no puritan. I'd like to see the sex trade legal as well (especially for public health reasons).

Big spread in the WSJ today how Medical Marijuana is flourishing as a business enterprise in CA. as a result of Obama pulling the plug on Federal Raids on Clinics in states where's Med Marijuana is legal.

About time the insanity of this drug war ends. California could manage some of their money troubles if they would just tax it.

If the Cash flows will this trend smoke the nation?

What does this statement mean?
