Re: "You can see how people become corrupted and linked to weirdo New Age religions by the people that mentor them, teach them, and people they work for." Some people are inherently just a bit weak-minded, or else they are the 'follower' type --- always looking for someone to make the decisions for them, tell them what to do, how to live. Someone to take away all the hard decisions of life. (It's probably a common thread that has existed in mankind throughout all of history, and even before.)
