Actually they can break in either direction ... the formation was actually a valid Minute H$S formation that broke to the Upside. But from the post I just made from Prechter that Larger IH&S Formation ... Odds are a break to the Darkside. He's on a 3 Down .. and I was looking for a 5 Down .. unless I mis-understand.

Failure is based on volume a lot of the time.

I think the GS manipulator algorithm sets those up, breaks the neckline and then goes into reverse after the SPX is a couple percent past it. Pretty good manipulator strategy if you ask me......
