in gas piping joint connection under pressure and holding is the key............ my bitch was up to 12 lbs for 48 hours, with only 7 lbs required.

as to the galvi, i'll either be dead, or living elsewhere before the pipe rusts out and the world ends.

This has always been my understanding...I ran mine myself...if you can rent/borrow a cutter/threader machine it's an easy job. Also there is a special mixable pipe dope you use to seal the threads.... when using black pipe for gas.
