Just for the record:

Morgan Stanley analyst Wein lowers cash allocation in model portfolio to 8% from 10%, putting more into stocks, including GAP and PSFT...

Of course yesterday the report from Wein was that he recommended a short on GAP.

Raptor,<<Do you tend to place order with a set price or use market order?>> I usually only do market orders. But I know exactly where the price is when I place the order. So, in otherwords I am watching the stock moment by moment when placing the order. But, I am not so sure how this would work when the market is moving like it was. I had an experience where I bought a stock one morning and the stock had very very high volume so I couldn't get my execution confirmed. I spoke to the broker about this and he said that it would usually execute very close to where the price was when the order went through..which in that case was true. I used to do limit orders and what I found was that they didn't always get executed on a timely basis. I rarely speak to a live broker because it just seems to take longer to reach one on many occasions so I do all my transactions either online or through Touch Tone Trader. So far I haven't had any problems.
