The ethics complaint about Palin's trust fund is a very serious matter, and it may be what triggered her abrupt resignation announcement. It appears that the investigator based his report on a description of the trust found at one of Palin's websites, rather than on the trust document itself. The trust document apparently fails to state that the sole purpose is to provide legal defense! I would not be surprised to see Sarah relinquishing her claim on the trust in the near future.

The Juneteenth matter is a federal lawsuit, not an ethics complaint...
