Obamacare for old folks: Just 'cut your life short'
Health plan provision demands 'end-of-life' counseling

Posted: July 22, 2009 - By Bob Unruh

The version of President Obama's universal health care plan pending in the U.S. House would require "end-of-life" counseling for senior citizens, and the former lieutenant governor for the state of New York is warning people to "protect their parents" from the measure.

At issue is section 1233 of the legislative proposal that deals with a government requirement for an "Advance Care Planning Consultation."

Shocking I know! Gawker has this headline:

Everybody in New Jersey Was Arrested Today

No, not quite everyone, just a bunch of corrupt Democrats (which you wouldn't know listening to the local news reports):

Federal prosecutors unveiled a mammoth corruption and money-laundering investigation in New Jersey today, arresting 44 people, including the mayors of Hoboken, Secaucus, and Ridgefield; two assemblymen; and five rabbis. Also some guy who's been selling human kidneys for ten years.

So, multiple arrests of Democratic officials including a member of Corzine's cabinet and now there's talk of trying to talk Corzine into withdrawing his candidacy. Maybe they should prop up Lautenberg for a run, he likes to come into a race late to replace a corrupt Democrat.

New Jersey residents get what they deserve by continually voting for Democrats. Hoboken residents especially don't seem to learn their lesson, this is their second corrupt mayor in the last six years:

An elected official in handcuffs in nothing new to Hoboken residents, unfortunately.

In the fall of 2003, former Hoboken mayor Anthony Russo was arrested on bribery and extortion charges. In 2004, he pleaded guilty to public corruption, admitting he accepted hundreds of thousands of dollars in bribes from a city accountant and a city towing business owner during his two terms as mayor.

Do you think they'll eventually get a clue?
