I keep listening to those folks, just to see if I can ever understand where they are coming from. Most of the time, it's very very difficult...!

Heard someone ask recently: Is health care a right?

I believe that is a poorly framed question.

EVERYONE has the right TO HAVE ACCESS to health care.

BUT

NO ONE has the right to try to make SLAVES of health care professionals.

AND

NO ONE has the right to make others pay for their own health care.

Our government has tried in so many ways to help those who can't/won't/don't take care of themselves...whether it be food, shelter, or health care.

The poor don't have to pay anything...Medicaid is there for them. Taxpayers pay.
Their children can have free breakfasts and lunches at school.
Taxpayers pay.

We food banks that we privately support. Taxpayers pay.
The poor get food stamps. Taxpayers pay.

Taxpayers even pay more for their own hospital and medical bills, because there are those who won't/don't/can't pay for their own.

When do we draw a line. Enough is enough. BUT our politicians continue to try to buy votes. Soon they will have more voters who don't pay any income taxes at all. That means that the taxpayers who support everyone will have their votes not count.

We are very close to that now. And if we count voter fraud, we are already there. Sickening as that is.
