That would be the same mistake Hoover and FDR made which really make the Great Depression the Great Depression instead of the 30's recession.

Yeah, that will really help unemployment.

Henry Ford had it right; trickle up works. If workers don't have money to spend the whole economy suffers.

Trickle down got us in this mess.

During the presidential campaign, Barack Obama proposed lifting the minimum wage to $9.50 an hour by 2011 and, from there, adjusting it annually for inflation. He should press that goal.
