If an American soldier is attacked and the attacker is hurt trying to kill the American, the American gives that person who just tried to kill them medical care as best as he is able. Why? Because we are human beings and so are they. If a child living in America is dying, we should do no less for him -- it is about being a human being and recognizing that others are also human -- it is humanity 101, the price of entry into humanity.
