Yeah, even the Democrats seem to be saying this.

Myself, I think it's "reasonable" to tax people on their healthcare benefits. Even my wife agrees with me on this and that doesn't happen very often.

It would cost us a few hundred bucks more each year, but if it would get healthcare for everybody we'd chip in.

I'm sure some people have unbelievable healthcare plans that pay for all kinds of "benefits" that the average person could never get.

I think Max Baucaus is in favor of this but the Obama Administration thinks it will break his pledge on not taxing the middle class. SO, they want to just throw it ALL on the millionaires and HOPE it works out. I don't think it will work out. To me, health benefits are income. They should be taxed at a lower rate, but they SHOULD be taxed. I'm saying this as a guy that will have to take a hit on it.
