Health care, like our military, should NOT be a for-profit enterprise. Having it be for-profit results inevitably in that denying it means more profits for the companies that provide it.

Some things work great as for profit enterprises. Health care isn't one of them.

Al, I've had socialists use that same false dilemma on me over and over again. Either you are for big government or you are for no government.

So we agree on this...there are national level issues and services that are best kept under the control of government to some degree. I happen to think health is one of these...you seem to flip flop on the issue...doesn't make me a socialist, doesn't make you "john kerry".

Wasteful government is better than none at all.

Now there is a false choice for you...
