Have fun!

We did!

Arrived Friday evening around 6:00 pm after a 3 hr drive from our house. We stayed at Hause Creek Campground, on the Tieton River. Our site was right next to the river, which was whitish with glacier melt. Even in late July, the river was high. the campground was not full, and was very quiet (important to the Smithee family).

Saturday we took a drive over White Pass to Mt. Rainier National Park. Had a picnic at Ohapanecosh and did a hike into the Grove of the Patriarchs (a grove of 1000 year old Doug Fir and Cedar trees).

Dropped our daughter off today at a camp that turned out to be about 1 mile from our campground as the crow flies. She's there till Thursday.

I'll post some pics in the next day or so.
