I don't plan on taking any new positions till well after Labour Day. Wall Street traders will be back from summer vacation, most of the key earnings will be out of the way, some of the back to schools sales numbers will start to trickle in and analysts will be starting to construct there models for the economy till the end of the year and into 2010.

In terms stocks some of biotechs will be reporting intial results in the fall for cyclic up tick followed by the sell in May syndrome in the spring. They may be a safer bet that any old economy cyclicals.
