Not a strawman - it's fact - that was the argument for prop 13.

Like I said.....its a strawman now;it was a strawman back then. You wingers think alike........whether its circa 1979 or circa 2009. ;-)

Eric, you're wasting your time. Ted thinks that by raising property taxes here in CA, all the problems will be solved. And he will never change his mind even if you prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that CA has a spending problem, not a revenue problem.

The funny thing is that I too think Prop. 13 ought to be phased out. But only if they reduce or even eliminate state income taxes at the same time. A lot of problems will be solved that way, but good luck trying to discuss that with a liberal who can't think straight.
