Gates immediately accused the officer of racism when all he asked for was some identification to be sure Gates was indeed the owner of that house... for anyone to call names and make accusation to the officer for that reason demonstrates complete stupidity... GZ

He was calling him names and referencing his mother. In most districts those are deemed "fighting words". However the Police Sergeant was well trained and didn't hit him. His conduct was deplorable for anyone outside of Washington State.

You are hilarious. From hack adminsistative law lawyer to Supreme Court Justice LOL I don't think Sotomayor agrees with you. Maybe you should write a letter to the court and have the statute removed. That statute sounds "void for vagueness" and therefore unconstitutional
